Women's soccer
Oakland 1, YSU 0: YOUNGSTOWN -- Oakland's Shelly Piccirillo scored a goal and the Golden Grizzlies (5-1) outshot YSU 12-4 in a win over the Penguins (1-4).
Slippery Rock 4, Clarion 0: CLARION -- The Rock recorded their fourth shutout in as many games and Sarah Arsensault scored two goals as Slippery Rock (4-0, 2-0) eased past Clarion (0-6, 0-1).
Wooster 2, Westminster 1: NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Beth Hemminger scored on a penalty kick but Wooster scored two unanswered goals in a win over the Titans (4-2).
Men's soccer
Hiram 1, Mount Union 0: HIRAM -- Richie Behling scored the game's lone goal for Hiram in a win over the Purple Raiders. Paul Money had eight saves for Mount Union.
Grove City 1, Bethany 0: GROVE CITY -- Senior Chris Crefeld broke a scoreless tie in the 14th minute as Grove City (5-1, 3-0) recorded its fifth shutout of the season in a win over Bethany College (3-4, 1-2). Brian Williams had the assist and keeper Brad Smith had five saves in the win.
Washington and Jefferson 2, Westminster 1: NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Junior forward Pasquale Reino scored a second-half goal but Westminster (4-1) dropped their first game of the season to Presidents' Athletic Conference rival Washington and Jefferson.
