RAYMOND F. MCCABE, 85

BOARDMAN -- Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Fox Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in St. Dominic Church for Raymond F. McCabe, 85, of Glenview Manor Nursing Home, Mineral Ridge, formerly of West Boulevard, who died Saturday morning in St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
Mr. McCabe was born Aug. 1, 1915, in Youngstown, a son of Matthew J. and Julia Heslen McCabe, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a 1935 graduate of South High School. He retired from LTV Steel in 1978 after 33 years and before that worked for the P & amp;LE Railroad. He had also been a stage hand for Vaudeville shows at the Palace Theater.
He was a member of the church and an Army veteran of World War II who served in Europe.
He leaves two sisters, Eileen Cunningham and Catherine Reilly, both of Boardman, and a brother, Paul of Fontana, Calif.
Two brothers, Matthew and Edward, and two sisters, Alice Marinucci and Mary Louise Lynch, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
