A 74-year-old Thanksgiving tradition in Pennsylvania -- the annual football game between Morrisville and Bristol high schools -- died this week.
Morrisville canceled its football season two months ago when the school couldn't come up with enough players to field a team.
The two Bucks County schools had faced off every year since 1926 and regularly drew hundreds of fans to their Thanksgiving Day classic.
The tradition ends with Morrisville on top, leading with 35 wins to Bristol's 34. The teams tied four times.
The Morrisville school district had been thinking about dropping the football team for several years, starting in 1999 when the team finished 2-8 and fielded only 22 players.
