OHIO BROWNS BOOSTERS NFL Draft Day party slated at Creekside

Some 500 fans are expected to attend the event in Girard.
GIRARD -- Jeff Joseph doesn't have a crystal ball, but he's willing to look into the future.
The president of the Ohio Browns Boosters club, Joseph thinks at least 500 will attend his group's NFL Draft Day party at the Creekside Golf Dome on April 20.
"It looks like at least 500," Joseph said. "It's going to be absolutely huge."
The event, which will offer activities for the entire family, is free and open to the public.
Members: The local club has about 250 active members, making it one of the largest in the state.
"We plan on doubling our membership this year," Joseph said.
"If you're a Cleveland Browns fan, you will not want to miss this event as it promises to be the biggest Browns party in the state of Ohio," Joseph said.
A punt, pass & amp; kick contest for children ages 5-12 is set for 2 p.m., with 162 participating.
Slated to appear: Former Browns Hanford Dixon and Frank Minnifield plus Browns running back Ben Gay will attend the party, as will offensive lineman Ryan Tucker, a former member of the St. Louis Rams.
"There's a real excitement about this year's Cleveland Browns team," Joseph said. "We may be headed to the playoffs for the first time in nearly 10 years."
