YOUNGSTOWN -- A portion of the national AIDS quilt will be on display from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Mahoning County Courthouse as part of Black Church Week of Prayer for the healing of AIDS. A brief ecumenical service will be at noon Tuesday.
The event is sponsored by the local T.J. Williams Ministries in collaboration with The Balm in Gilead, a nonprofit agency in New York City that works with health departments for HIV/AIDS education and prevention in faith communities.
