MILTON TOWNSHIP Columbiana man alleges gang rape
The man said he thinks he was followed from an adult video store.
LAKE MILTON -- A naked Columbiana man found walking near his stalled car at North Newton Falls and Gladstone roads told Milton Township police he had been gang raped and robbed by three men he saw inside a Youngstown adult video store.
The 34-year-old man flagged down Sgt. Pete Gorantis about 2 a.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of North Newton Falls Road and explained what happened. The Columbiana man provided police with possible biological evidence of the attack but refused to be taken to a hospital by paramedics who had been called to the scene.
Descriptions: The man said he left the video store about midnight and believed he was being followed in a maroon General Motors vehicle by three men:
U A dark-haired man in his late 30s with dark complexion, possibly Hispanic, wearing blue jeans.
U A white man with sandy brown hair in his late 20s wearing a red shirt.
U A white man in his mid- to late-20s wearing wire-rimmed glasses.
The victim said he ran out of gas in the 2400 block of North Newton Falls Road and the three men approached and offered him a ride to get gas. Once he was inside the suspects' vehicle, a gun was placed to his head and the gunman demanded his wallet, which contained about $350.
The assault: The Columbiana man said he was ordered to take his clothes off, and the clothes were thrown along the roadway. The suspects took turns with the man in the back seat of their vehicle while driving around the township, according to reports.
The man told police he was let go on Newton Falls Road just north of Creed Road and had no luck waking sleeping residents for help. He then walked back toward his car.
