Hair-a-thon planned
CANFIELD -- The senior cosmetology class at the Mahoning County Career & amp; Technical Center will hold "Fall Hair-a-thon 2001" from noon to 7 p.m. Nov. 20 at the CTC beauty salon, 7300 N. Palmyra Road. The event is open to the public, and appointments are preferred by calling (330) 729-4000, Ext. 1708. Walk-ins are also welcome. A variety of services will be offered, and fees will be based on services provided with all work being done by students under the direction of Linda Tomko, licensed cosmetology instructor. Proceeds will defray costs incurred by students taking the state cosmetology exam in Columbus.
