PRIORITY: "My priority is to improve the accountability of the public school system. There is no magic pill to cure the ills of our city school system. However, there are several strategies that, when taken together, would go a long way in improving public education. They are: paying teachers for performance, making smaller schools and classes, holding educators accountable, offering more variety, providing adequate funding, increasing time in school and using technology effectively."
