Nail-a-thon
CANFIELD -- The junior cosmetology class at the Mahoning County Career & amp; Technical Center will sponsor a "Nail-a-thon" from 2 to 7 p.m. March 15 at the CTC beauty salon, 7300 N. Palmyra Road. Clients can choose a manicure with hand and arm massage, a therapeutic hand wax or a facial with pack or mask. Work will be done by students under the supervision of Linda Tomko, licensed instructor. Fees will be based on type of services, and proceeds will defray costs of the trip for the state board licensing exam. Appointments are preferred and may be made by calling (330) 729-4000, ext. 1708. Walk-ins also are welcome.
