SOUTH EUCLID -- Westminster's men won the five-team event with 27 points, followed by Grove City (35), Cuyahoga Community College (84), Notre Dame (115) and Thiel (132). The Titans' Jacob Gleason of Farmington, Pa., and a graduate of Uniontown High, won the meet in 27:36. Titans senior Scott Fabry of Lowellville was 10th in 28:21.
Thiel freshman Matt Rowland of Niles, a Howland High graduate, finished in 28:55 for his personal best time. Mary Beth Scialabba finished led the women's team by finishing sixth with a time of 20:41. With 100 points, the Thiel women finished fourth behind Grove City (21), Westminster (53) and Cuyahoga Community College (83). Titans senior Desiree Henry of Butler won the race in 19:50. Sophomore Sara Ialongo of Ellwood City was ninth in 21:14, junior Kelly Schmidt of West Middlesex was 10th in 21:18 and freshman Felicie Reed of North Lima was 13th in 22:03.

Washington & amp; Jefferson 2, Thiel 0: WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Andy Komar and Josh Jeffries scored for the Presidents (3-3, 2-0 in the Presidents Athletic Conference). The Tomcats are 1-6, 0-2 and play Tuesday at Waynesburg College.
Grove City 2, Mount Union 0: Dustin King and senior Jon Veshio of Mercer scored for the Wolverines (4-1). The Purple Raiders are 2-5. Grove City is home Wednesday against Bethany.

Shannon Haines of New Castle, a Neshannock High graduate, had wins in singles and doubles. The Titans play Wednesday when they are home against Waynesburg. The Tomcats (2-2, 0-2) play Tuesday at Bethany College.
VOLLEYBALL
Mount Union defeated Notre Dame College, 30-24, 30-27, 30-23.
Mount Union defeated Franklin, 19-30, 26-30, 31-29, 30-28, 15-8.
Baldwin-Wallace defeated Mount Union, 30-19, 33-31, 30-23. Mount Union is 11-4.
Denison defeated Grove City, 30-25, 30-25, 30-24: Junior Cara Denniston of Grove City posted 28 assists.
Calvin defeated Grove City, 30-18, 23-30, 30-21, 30-26.
Grove City defeated Hanover, 30-28, 30-16, 30-19. Grove City is 3-5.
WOMEN'S SOCCER

John Carroll 1, Grove City 0 (OT): Jill Comerford scored with seven seconds remaining in the second overtime period. Goalkeeper Erica Long of Slippery Rock High made three first-half saves while Katy Turman made 10 in the second half and overtime.
