A Nov. 1, 2000, homicide in Austintown is the focus of Crime Stoppers of Greater Youngstown this week:
Crime: Death of Roy Patterson, a 45-year-old out-of-state truck driver.
Site: Rear lot of Rebel Lounge, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive at 2:47 a.m.
Details: A fight between two truckers over a CB radio left Patterson dead from multiple stab wounds.
Description of subject: Clean-shaven white man in his late 30s or early 40s, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall. The suspect was driving an older white semi with a midroof sleeper. It had a "Z" design stripe along the side in a dark color, possibly red, and was pulling a shorter gray or white dump trailer in poor condition.
