A series of residential burglaries is the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:
Crime: Burglary and theft.
Location: Mesabi and Quinby streets in Sharon and Wallis Avenue in Farrell.
Details: Police are investigating a series of night-time burglaries over the past three weeks at apartments in these areas. The burglars usually get in by breaking a window or forcing open a door. Cash, jewelry, clothing, cellular telephones and Christmas gifts were most of the items taken.

Reward: Crime Solvers, a nonprofit organization, offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for a serious crime in Mercer County.
