RUNNING
Washingtonville -- in Columbiana County is where the Habitat for Humanity 5K run/walk will be Saturday at 9 a.m. Registration will be at the Shopper's Choice Marathon on state Route 14. Call 424-0211.
Lakeview High School -- is where the Cortland 10 Miler and 2 Mile Fun Run will begin June 23 at 9 a.m. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $10. Entries may be mailed to: George Gessner, 212 W. Main, Cortland Ohio 44410; or Ernie Grekis, 304 N. High St., Cortland Ohio 44410. Proceeds will benefit Lakeview cross country teams.

West Side Patroits -- Little League football will hold signups June 23 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Kirkmere Elementary School.

Warren JFK girls -- who are interested in playing in the fall should call coach Bill Roberts at 652-3990. Candidates must have a physical before practicing.
WTC Rockers -- will hold open tryouts for its fall travel and select teams on June 13 and 20 at 6 p.m. at the Warren JFK soccer field. Makeup is June 23 at noon for girls in the U-10, U-12 and U-14 divisions. WTC is also seeking qualified coaches. Call Bill at 652-3990.
