BANKING
YOUNGSTOWN -- Bill Anderson has been promoted to senior vice president and retail market manager for Bank One Corp., where he is responsible for the bank's 26 locations in the Youngstown, Steubenville and Wheeling, W.Va., markets. Formerly head of the bank's Business Banking Group, Anderson has been with the company 10 years and has more than 40 years of banking experience. He lives in Boardman.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Home Savings and Loan Co., a subsidiary of United Community Financial Corp., is announcing five promotions.
Frank Constantino, formerly a branch sales manager, has been named assistant vice president and branch sales manager in the Howland office. Constantino came to Home Savings from Sky Financial, where he was a district sales manager. He has bachelor's degrees in business administration and elementary education from Youngstown State University and lives in Struthers.
Elmer Berstling of Hubbard was named assistant vice president and branch sales manager in the Liberty office. Berstling came to the company in February from Key Bank where he held several positions, including branch sales manager.
Claudia Newhard, an Austintown resident, is the new assistant vice president and branch sales manager in the Canfield office. Newhard started at Home Savings as a teller in 1993, served as branch loan secretary and loan officer and was promoted to office manager last year.
Pamela Raidel, an employee since 1997 and former customer service supervisor in the Howland office, was named assistant vice president and branch sales manager at the South Side office. Raidel, of Austintown, has a bachelor's degree in management, marketing and public relations from YSU.
Marlene Wilson, a Poland resident, was named assistant vice president and operations manager in construction lending. Wilson joined the company as a management trainee in 1999 and had been a loan officer, branch manager and construction loan originator. She has a bachelor's degree in finance from YSU.
TRAVEL
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Anderson Coach and Travel has announced a promotion and several hirings at its Greenville, Pa., office. Dave Latshaw of Greenville was promoted to operator development manager. Mark Stevenson of Jamestown, Pa. was hired as a dispatcher, Connie Bergkessel of Sharon and April Painter of Hermitage were hired in accounting.
New tour directors include Margaret Arrant of Akron, Shirley Bahr of Linesville, Pa., Elizabeth Kelner of Conneaut, Ohio, and Esther Wasser of Greenville. Kimberly Cianci was hired as a marketing intern and Kathy Loreno of Hartstown, Pa., was hired as a receptionist.
