NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- The St. Francis Hospital School of Radiography recently achieved the maximum award of accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. The joint review committee is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the national agency for the accreditation of educational programs for the radiographer and radiation therapist. The accreditation is awarded for a period of eight years.
Mental health program
AUSTINTOWN -- The Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health will present a free program, "Immunization & amp; Medication Issues for Children," Jan. 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. Kellie Durner, a registered nurse and school nurse, and Dana Cox, a special education teacher, will be the hosts of the program, which will be at D & amp;E Counseling Center, 142 Javit Court.
