The Matricardis are honored at family dinner

POLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. John Matricardi of Poland were the guests of honor Feb. 4 at a family dinner at the Holiday Inn in Boardman in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the couple's sons and daughters-in-law, John S. and Karen Matricardi of Cleveland and Dennis and Paula Matricardi of North Canton. Six grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Matricardi and the former Sally J. Anders were married Feb. 10, 1951. They are members of Western Reserve Baptist Church.
He retired in 1986 from Sharon Steel Co. in Farrell, Pa., where he was a millwright. He also served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps.
His wife is a homemaker.
