ARTIST PROMOTION
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tommy Volinchak, a Youngstown native, has been hired as an artist development executive by the Christian Country Music Association's Higgins Music Group. Based in Nashville, the CCMA specializes in promoting artists to radio. Volinchak does album reviews and writes a regular column for Power Source Magazine. He is the former owner of Tommy's Tunes Productions, a recording studio and music production company in Boardman. He is an Austintown Fitch High School graduate and has a bachelor's degree in biology from Youngstown State University.
WORKERS' COMPENSATION
WARREN -- Benefit Management Services has appointed Lisa Bates as an account representative to market and service workers' compensation accounts in its Howland office. The company administrates workers' compensation claims for area employers and chambers of commerce.
BANKING
WARREN -- Second National Bank has appointed Beth McClain an assistant vice president in the Mortgage Loan Department. McClain joined the bank last month as mortgage processing and closing manager. She attended Gannon University and John Carroll University.
TELEMARKETING
AUSTINTOWN -- Tracy Meeker joined InfoCision Management Corp. as a program supervisor in its operations department. Meeker has a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University and had been employed at Perkins Family Restaurant.
