BOATING
A six-class, safe boating course will start March 9 sponsored by the Mosquito Lake Power Squadron. The tuition-free course, covering rules for boaters and basic seamanship rules, will be held at the Cortland First Federal bank office Tuesdays and Fridays 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. To register, contact Dan Magulick, (330) 638-8644.
PENNSYLVANIA
Game scoringsession planned
Hunters who harvested a trophy Pennsylvania white-tailed deer or black bear are encouraged to attend any of the nine scoring-sessions that the Pennsylvania Game Commission will be conducting around the state between March 10 and April 29.
At least one scoring session will be held in each of the Game Commission's six field regions .

Turkey clinic
The Portage Summit Field & amp; Stream will host "Talking Turkey," a turkey hunting clinic March 24 at the club grounds, U.S. Route. 224. 1.5 miles west of the Deerfield traffic circle next to Midwest Fireworks.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the classrooms session will begin at 9 a.m.
