Youngstown boy is shot in accident

YOUNGSTOWN -- A 15-year-old boy was treated at St. Elizabeth Health Center after being shot in the right thigh in his home by a 14-year-old boy Friday afternoon.
Terrell Vaughn, of 1341 Berwick Ave., told police a friend came to his residence and showed him the .38-caliber handgun just before 1 p.m., not knowing the gun was loaded.
The gun discharged in the hand of the 14-year-old, who said he was sorry and ran out the door, Terrell told police.
The shooting was accidental, the victim's cousin told police.
Terrell told police the gun belonged to the father of a friend of the 14-year-old.
