THELMA SIMS, 81

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Phillips Chapel C.M.E. Church for Thelma Sims, 81, of 122 W. Myrtle Ave., who died Feb. 26 in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Sims was born Nov. 5, 1919, in Bleeker, Ala., a daughter of Israel and Margie Gibson Coar, and came to Youngstown many years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the church.
Her husband, Oliver, whom she married in 1949, died in 1962.
She leaves a daughter, Dolores Goodley of New York City; three sons, Charles Goodley, and Oliver and Reginald Sims, all of Youngstown; and four grandchildren.
Two sisters, Carrie Williams and Alberta Green, are deceased.
Friends may call one hour before services in the church. Arrangements are by Black & amp; Phillips Funeral Home.
