KATHERINA MACINGA, 90

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown, and at 10 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, for Katherina Macinga, 90, of Boardman Community Care Center, formerly of Connecticut Avenue, who died Friday morning at the care center.
Mrs. Macinga was born March 4, 1910, in Brampton Township, Mich., a daughter of Matt and Kate Hudak Kollar.
She was a homemaker and a member of the church, its senior citizen group, and the Jednota lodge.
Her husband, John S., whom she married June 28, 1928, died Dec. 12, 1988.
She leaves two sons, John G. of Boardman and Frank of Struthers; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where a rosary service will be conducted at 3:45 p.m.
