JOHN T. RAMOS, 78



HUBBARD -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, and at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, for John T. Ramos, 78, of 730 Gary Drive, who died Thursday morning in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Mr. Ramos, who was also known as "Chico" and "Poncho," was born Nov. 12, 1922 in Silao, Mexico, a son of Thomas and Josephine Torres Ramos. He came to the Unites States as an infant, and moved from Youngstown to Hubbard in 1970.
He worked for Valley Mold & amp; Iron Corp. for 36 years and retired in 1984. He served in the Army during World War II.
He was a member of the church, Hubbard VFW post 3767. He enjoyed fishing, tennis and golf.
Besides his wife, the former Rose Alice Emanuel, whom he married March 2, 1946, he leaves a daughter, Joanne Rose Chavez of Campbell; a brother, Thomas Ramos of Struthers; and three grandchildren.
Three brothers, Frank, Fred and Lupe Ramos, and three sisters, Elizabeth Avila, Rose Avila and Mary Guteriz, are deceased.
Friends may call from 9:30 until services Monday at the funeral home.
