JOHN GRESKO, 78

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at noon Monday in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for John Gresko, 78, of 51 Evans Ave., who died Friday morning at Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky.
Mr. Gresko was born June 22, 1922, in Youngstown, a son of William and Elizabeth Repko Gresko. He retired in 1981 as an electrician for General Fireproofing, where he worked 39 years.
He was a member of the church, its men's club, its seniors group, and various area coin clubs. He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and a World War II Army veteran.
Besides his wife, the former Helene Kavinsky, whom he married Oct. 28, 1944, he leaves a daughter, Patricia Grunden of Lisbon; a brother, William of Youngstown; and three grandchildren.
A brother, Edward, is deceased.
Friends may call one hour before services in the church. Arrangements are by Lane Funeral Home, Austintown.
