DAVID EUGENE SPIKER JR., 33
SALEM -- Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday in Salem Bible Methodist Church for David Eugene Spiker Jr., 33, of 35642 Salem-Grange Road, who died of cancer Thursday at his home after a long illness.
Mr. Spiker was born Nov. 1, 1967, in Alliance, a son of David E. Sr. and Ella Mae Kidd Spiker, and was a lifelong area resident. He owned and operated Dave's Mowing & amp; Landscaping for 11 years and was a salesman for Omega water conditioners of Cortland.
He had been a member of the Hanover Township Volunteer Fire Department and attended the church.
Besides his parents of Salem, he leaves his wife, the former Mindie Ellen Ankeny, whom he married Sept. 23, 1989; two daughters, Melissa C. and Kaitlyn L., both at home; two sons, Nathan M. and Joshua D., both at home; three sisters, Cynthia M. Taggart, Brenda K. Spiker, and Elizabeth M. Spiker all of Salem; three brothers, Jonnathan E., Mark A. and Timothy P. all of Salem; and grandmother, Clara Eddy Francis of Massillon.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the church.
Contributions may be made to the church's benevolent fund.
