BETTY O'BRIEN, 74



BOARDMAN -- Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday at Rossi Bros. Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Luke Church for Betty O'Brien, 74, of 995 Afton Ave., who died Thursday afternoon in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. O'Brien was born May 3, 1926, in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Louise Pehl Peacock. She worked for Ohio Greyhound for four years and was a sales clerk for Sears for 19 years before retiring in 1985.
She was a member of the church, was past secretary and treasurer of Austintown Lioness Club and was active at Leonard Kirtz School.
Besides her husband, Eugene J., whom she married July 2, 1949, she leaves three sons, Michael J., Richard J. and Timothy E., all of Boardman; two brothers, William Peacock of Liberty and Russell Peacock of Youngstown; a sister, Helen Timcher of Boardman; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A brother, Jack Peacock, is deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where a prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
