CHARLES L. SHEFFLER, 69
POLAND -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Davis Funeral Home, Boardman, for Charles L. Sheffler, 69, of 695 E. Western Reserve Road, who died Wednesday morning at home.
Mr. Sheffler was born May 14, 1931, in Akron, a son of John A. and Elsie Lutes Sheffler.
He was a manager for Ziegler Youngstown Tire, retiring in November 2000.
He was a member, deacon and trustee of Western Reserve Baptist Church, where he was a lay moderator. He was also a member of Applewood Golf League and was a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.
Besides his wife, the former Norma Cook, whom he married Dec. 30, 1950, he leaves a daughter, Linda Bayowski of Cincinnati; a son, Ted of Poland; and six grandchildren.
A brother, John L., is deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and one hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman 44512.
