Linnens honored at dinner for 50th anniversary

HUBBARD -- Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Linnen, 262 Westview Ave., were the guests of honor at a dinner party June 16 at The Gentry in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary.
Arrangements for the observance were made by the couple's children and their spouses, Steve Linnen of Austintown, Tom and Kathy Linnen of Hubbard, Martha and Rich Frazzini of Hubbard, Joan and David Miller of Rootstown, Carol and Dan Heckert of Brookfield, Jennifer Linnen of Masury, Susan and Bill Dunn of Fairview Park, and William and Lynette Linnen of Struthers. Eleven grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Linnen and the former Metta Austin were married June 16, 1951, at St. Patrick Church in Kent. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired in 1990 from Conrail in Youngstown, where he was a foreman.
His wife retired in 1993 from Superior Chemical Products in Youngstown, where she was an office worker. She is a member of Fortnightly IV.
The Linnens belong to St. Patrick Church.
