Trustees elected to serve society



YOUNGSTOWN -- Three new trustees were elected to the board when the Mahoning Valley Historical Society met June 19 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park.
They are David Owen, Charles Rumberg and Patricia Sweet, who will serve three-year terms.
Re-elected to three-year terms were Dr. William Cleary, Tricia Perry, Mark Peyko, Richard Schiraldi, Hildegard Schnuttgen, Barbara Schwebel and Verna Wylie.
Charles J. McCrudden Jr., society president, conducted the 126th annual meeting.
The society, founded in 1875, operates the Arms Family Museum of Local History and the MVHS Archival Library, 648 Wick Ave.
