NORTH LIMA -- Janet Leigh Osberg, 3610 Mercedes Place, Canfield, became the bride of Christian Eric Johnson, 1792 Mapletrace Court, Austintown, as they exchanged vows at 2:30 p.m. May 26 before the Rev. Melinda Q. Lacefield at Mount Olivet United Church of Christ.
A reception at The Georgetown in Boardman honored the daughter of Carl and Carol Osberg, 203 Nila Drive, and the son of Patricia Johnson of the Mapletrace Court address, and Arnold Johnson, Racine, Wis.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and live at the bride's address.
A first-grade teacher with Canfield Local Schools, Mrs. Johnson graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in education and from Youngstown State University with a master's in curriculum development.
A graduate of YSU with a bachelor's degree in education, Mr. Johnson is a science teacher at Chaney High School in Youngstown.
Lace and pearls embellished the bride's sleeveless gown designed with an organza-over-satin skirt and styled with a cathedral train.
The bride's sister and honor attendant, Jodi Bucci, wore a sage dress, as did the bridesmaids, Traci Morucci, Sherry Gill and Jennifer Schueneman, the bride's cousins, and Karen Kuzma. Flower girl was Victoria Bucci, the bride's niece.
Best man was Brian Snarey. Groomsmen were Michael Fay, Patrick Maharick, Kevin Feorene and Jeff Feorene. Ushers were David Johnson, a brother of the groom, and William Bucci, the bride's brother-in-law.
