Dennis-Novits engagement is made known

Announcement is being made by Robert and Barbara Dennis, 422 N. Hazelwood Ave., Youngstown, and Ronald and Kathleen Wigdahl, 1146 Turkey Circle, Colorado Springs, Colo., of the engagement of their children, Melissa Dennis and Anthony Novits, both of 4654 Rhode Island Drive, Austintown.
An open ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 22 at Poland United Methodist Church, and a reception by invitation is set for that evening at the Saxon Club in Austintown.
Miss Dennis is a student at Kent State University Ashtabula Campus and is employed as a licensed practical nurse at the Northeast Ohio Correctional Center in Youngstown.
Her fiance is a customer-service representative for Jefferson-Smurfit Stone Corp. in Ravenna.
