Earns license for Ohio
Pamela S. Hrina has earned her license to practice law in the state of Ohio. A 1987 graduate of Boardman High School and a 1991 graduate of John Carroll University, she is a 2000 graduate of the University of Akron School of Law.
Hrina is administrator of the Ohio Workers' Compensation division of TransGlobal Adjusting Corp. in Fairlawn, Ohio.
She is the daughter of Virginia J. Reto of Boardman and the late Thomas F. Reto Sr., and lives in Canfield with her husband, Atty. David J. Hrina, and their daughter, Emily.
DOCTORS
Received degree
Christine Pelic, daughter of Mark and Karen Curtis of Canfield, has received her doctor of medicine degree at the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo.
A 1993 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, Dr. Pelic earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind., and will begin her residency training in psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
At graduation ceremonies, she received a behavioral science award and an achievement citation given to women medical students who are honors graduates.
She is married to Dr. Christopher Pelic and they live in Mount Pleasant, S.C. The Pelics celebrated the birth of their son, Christopher, on May 21.
Doctorate of pharmacy
Jennifer L. Shirilla, a 1995 graduate of Ursuline High School, received her doctorate of pharmacy degree with high distinction honors from Ohio Northern University.
Shirilla is the daughter of Jerry and Pauline Shirilla of Hubbard. She has accepted a position as pharmacy practice resident with the Parkview Health System in Fort Wayne, Ind.
