PITTSBURGH -- Kimberly Jordan, Pittsburgh, became the bride of Hal Burch, also of Pittsburgh, during a ceremony at 3:30 p.m. May 12 at First United Methodist Church of Pittsburgh. The Revs. John Buchanan and Patricia Mollick officiated for the daughter of William and Karen Jordan, 7745 Silver Fox Drive, Boardman, and the son of Dr. Charles and Cheri Burch, Sandia Park, N.M.
A reception was held at St. Pamphilus Church hall. After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, they live in Providence, R.I.
Rebecca Ronshausen was honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Maggie Condon and Colleen Scott. They wore navy dresses. Brooke Anderson, the bride's cousin, was flower girl.
Carl Burch, the groom's brother, was best man. Groomsmen were Jeffrey Boyd, the bride's cousin, and Jun Gao. Ring bearer was Eric Boyd, the bride's cousin.
The bride's white satin and tulle gown was designed with a sweetheart neckline and bodice covered with Venise lace.
Mrs. Burch has a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Youngstown State University and a master's in mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a teaching fellow at UP where she is a doctoral candidate in mathematics.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in applied math, computer science and physics from the University of Missouri, Rolla, and a master's in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a doctoral candidate in computer science at CMU. They work at Lumeta Corp., Somerset, N.J.
