Edwards jubilee is celebrated at Boardman park

BOARDMAN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Garold Edwards, 153 Green Bay Drive, was celebrated May 26 at Boardman Township Park where friends and relatives gathered to honor the couple.
Invitations for the event were issued by their family, Mary Beth and Denny Smrecansky of Hilliard, and Garold A. II and Sarah T. Edwards of Beckley, W.Va.
The former Theresa Long and Mr. Edwards were united in marriage May 26, 1951, at St. Patrick Church, Youngstown. They are members of St. Charles Church and are the grandparents of four children.
Mrs. Edwards retired in 1993 from Dollar Bank where she was a computer operator. Her husband served with the U.S. Navy, and is a semi-retired self-employed floor contractor.
