FESTIVALS
XJefferson Depot Inc. will hold a strawberry festival/craft bazaar from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Jefferson Depot Village, 147 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson. A spaghetti supper will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, and an antique car show is planned for 1 p.m. Sunday.
FLOWER SHOWS
XWarren Rose Society will sponsor a Rose Show from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday near the J.C. Penney Store at Eastwood Mall, Niles. Members and non-members have until 10 a.m. to submit roses they have grown for judging by Ken Heichel and Jim Wickert of the Cleveland area. Ribbons and certificates will be awarded winners. No admission or entry fee.
FUND-RAISERS
XThe Ulster Project will sponsor a car wash from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Chick-Fil-A on Route 224.
SALES
XAmerican Hellenic Educational Progressive Association will hold a rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the AHEPA 89 apartments, 44 Boardman Blvd., boardman.
XGreater Youngstown Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association will hold a garage sale from noon to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield. Early-bird admission will be $3 per person from 10 a.m. to noon Friday. Craft supplies, furniture, collectibles and household items will be available. XHartford Community Church, state Route 7 and 305, will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 29 and 30 at the church. Donations of household, lawn and garden items, clothing and miscellaenous items are needed. To donate call the church, (330) 772-2171.

TRIPS
XGirard Herb Society will sponsor at bus trip June 23 to Sweet Annie Herbs in Center Hall, Pa. Departure will be at 8 p.m. from Girard, with a return set for 9 p.m. that evenings. Cost is $35 per person and does not include dinner. For information contact Rayne Brubaker, (330) 568-1005.
