SHARON, Pa. -- After a honeymoon in Hawaii, Mr. and Mrs. James Michael O'Mara are making their home in Mercer, Pa. The former Mary Frances "Mimi" Varga, Northview Drive, Brookfield, and the groom, 150 Seidle Road, Mercer, exchanged marriage vows April 28 during a ceremony at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Church before Monsignor William Karg.
The children of Jack and JoAnne Varga, 7458 Northview Drive, and James and Kathie O'Mara, 1004 Old Orchard Drive, Gibsonia, Pa., accepted congratulations at a reception at the Radisson, West Middlesex.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a master's degree in business administration, Mrs. O'Mara is a pharmaceutical representative with GlaxoSmithKline of Philadephia.
Mr. O'Mara attended Robert Morris College, Moon Township, Pa., and is a regional wholesaler for Atlas Resources, Moon Township.
Honor attendants were Diane Varga and Theresa Joseph, the bride's sisters. Bridesmaids were Tammy Varga, the bride's sister-in-law; Laine O'Mara, the groom's sister; Kathy Albert; Alta Bayer; and Jeanie Long. They wore gold dresses.
Darren Schoppe served as best man. Groomsmen were. Joe and Steve Varga, the bride's brothers; Steve Hazelett; Chad Beatty; Jay Novelli; and Brad Phillips. Ring bearer was Andrew Varga.
The bride's silk gown was styled with cap sleeves and cathedral train. An Austrian crystal halo held her fingertip veil.
