JEFFERSON -- Nuptial vows were exchanged at 4 p.m. May 17 at Ashtabula County Courthouse by Julia A. Hazy, 865 Waugh Drive, Hubbard, and Rudy S. Verhas, 372 state Route 6, as they were united in marriage.
Judge Charles Hague presided at the ceremony for the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Rozgonyi and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Imre Verhas.
After a reception at Dagwood's in Willowick, the couple left on a wedding trip to Hawaii. They live in Jefferson.
The bride, who wore a blue suit, graduated from Youngstown School of Practical Nursing and is a retired private duty licensed practical nurse.
The groom is a maintenance supervisor at ARC Rubber Inc. in Geneva.
