Anniversary is celebrated by the Echols

MINERAL RIDGE -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Echols, 1733 Rosalyn Drive, was celebrated during a reception held at 5 p.m. May 12 at First Presbyterian Church in Niles where they are members.
Invitations for the event were extended by the couple's daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Jerry Butcher of Mineral Ridge. The family includes one grandchild.
The former Clara Horne and Mr. Echols were married May 12, 1951, at the Presbyterian Church in Norton, Va.
Mr. and Mrs. Echols are members of the Niles Historical Society and the Ida McKinley Chapter Order of Eastern Star. She also belongs to the Women's Association.
Mr. Echols, who served with the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946, is also a member of Mahoning Masonic Lodge.
