Genealogical society to install officers

AUSTINTOWN -- The Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. June 18 at Four Mile Run Christian Church, 701 N. Four Mile Run Road. Speaker will be Brent Morgan of Richmond Heights on "Civil War Research."
Installation of the following officers also will take place: Paul Kreutzer, president; Ron Garchar, vice president; Mary Ann McCluskey, corresponding secretary; Janet Griffin, secretary; Louis Joseph, treasurer; and Sue Bell, historian.
The computer interest group will meet at 6:30 p.m. prior to the regular meeting.
The chapter also will have a volunteer available from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday afternoons at the main branch of the Youngstown Public Library to assist anyone interested in genealogy.
