Miss Sutherland to be bride of Mr. Lucente

WEIRTON, W.Va. -- Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sutherland of Weirton are announcing the engagement of the daughter, Shannon Rena & eacute; Sutherland of Toledo, and Joseph Eleseo Lucente, also of Toledo, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Eleseo Lucente of Boardman.
The bride-elect graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree and is an honors graduate from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a resident doctor specializing in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
Mr. Lucente is employed by the Ohio State University as an extension agent for community and economic development and the Ohio Sea Grant Program in Lucas County. He holds a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University and a master's in public administration from Akron University.
The couple are planning a September wedding.
