Marcy-Alcantar wedding to be in Austinburg

GIRARD -- Anthony and Margaret Alcantar, 323 E. Prospect St., are announcing the engagement of their son, Nicholas Alcantar, 5227 Devon, North Olmsted, and Sharon Marcy, a daughter of Keith and Marilyn Marcy, all of 1501 Chapel Road, Jefferson.
Miss Marcy, a fourth-grade teacher with Assumption Schools in Geneva, graduated from Ashland University with a degree in elementary education.
Mr. Alcantar graduated from AU with a degree in middle-school education. He is an eighth-grade mathematics teacher with Cleveland Municipal School District.
The couple will be married in an open ceremony they have planned for 4:30 p.m. July 28 at Austinburg United Church of Christ, Austinburg. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at Andrus Party Center in Ashtabula.
