YOUNGSTOWN -- Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church provided the setting for the April 28 wedding of Michelle Rinard and John A. Pizzola, both of Fenton. Monsignor Michael Cariglio heard the exchange of vows during the 3 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Alan and Beth Rinard, 6633 Lisamarie Road, Columbus, and the son of Joseph and Barbara Pizzola, 2971 Meadow Lane.
Before leaving on a Mediterranean cruise, the newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at the Maronite Center.
Mrs. Pizzola graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Davenport College, Grand Rapids, Mich.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in aviation administration at Ohio State University, Columbus. He is a senior manager with Federal Express, Flint, Mich.
The bride's off-the-shoulder gown of white regal silk was embellished with Madeira lace and pearls and was styled with an A-line skirt and semicathedral train.
The bride's sister, Barbara Horvath of Streetsboro, was her honor attendant. She wore a celedon gown, as did the bridesmaids, Laura Less of Columbus and Beth DeSalvo of Eldridge, Iowa, the groom's sisters, and Michele Prugh of Columbus. Flower girls were his nieces, Hannah and Olivia DeSalvo and Mackenzie Less, all of Columbus.
Serving as best man was Eric Isakson of Toledo. Groomsmen were Alex Benyo of Youngstown and Michael Essman and Thomas Mox, both of Columbus. A nephew of the groom, Elijah Less of Columbus, was ring bearer.
