YOUNGSTOWN -- Lisa M. Berdis, 5669 Tulane Ave., Austintown, and Robert W. O'Donnell, 594 W. Como St., Struthers, were married May 12 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Kenneth Rudkin presided at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Stephen and Nancy Berdis of the Tulane Avenue address, and the son of Jeff and Linda Kulow, of the West Como Street address, and Richard and Jackie O'Donnell of Cuyahoga Falls.
A reception followed at The Elm Tree in Struthers.
After a honeymoon at the Florida Keys, the couple live in Boardman.
Pearled and sequined lace embellished the bride's white gown, which featured a satin bodice with a strapless, sweetheart neckline, a basque waistline, tulle skirt and cathedral train.
Pale-yellow gowns were worn by Heather Beck, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Tawnya Stevens, Ericka Geiss and Melanie Richards. Flower girl was Sydney Wess.
The duties of best man were performed by Rick O'Donnell, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were Steve Berdis, a brother of the bride; Rick Minniti; and Kevin Coppola. Ring bearer was Chris Pelar, the bride's nephew.
The bride is pursuing a degree in exercise science at Youngstown State University and is employed at Kaufmann's Distribution Center in North Jackson.
The groom, a draftsman with Vulcraft Sales in Youngstown, is pursuing a degree in civil engineering at YSU.
