YOUNGSTOWN -- Honeymooning in Paris are Mr. and Mrs. Rigel Ariza, who were married June 1 at the Chapel of Friendly Bells by the Rev. Dr. D. Larry Kline.
The former Jennifer Pavelko and the groom, both of 3239 W. 140th St., Cleveland, exchanged vows during a ceremony at 3 p.m.
The bride is a daughter of Joyce Pavelko, Raccoon Road, Austintown, and Mike Pavelko, 4301 Helena Ave., Youngstown. Parents of the groom are Guaroa and Ivette Ariza, 8558 Summerland Trail, Poland.
The couple were honored at a reception at The Elm Tree in Struthers. They will live in Cleveland,
A registered nurse, Mrs. Ariza graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing from Youngstown State University. She is employed by University Hospital of Cleveland. The groom earned a degree in political science at YSU and is attending Cleveland Marshal Law School. He is a law clerk at Brown and Margolius law firm in Cleveland.
A beaded pearl bodice highlighted the bride's white satin gown accented by sheer lace.
Honor attendant was Jeannette Oliver of Boardman. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Susany of Youngstown and Jaimie Sharp of Youngstown. They wore lavender dresses. Flower girl was Maya Ariza of Cleveland, the couple's daughter.
Ian McElroy of Youngstown served as best man. Groomsmen were Cesar Ariza of Poland, the groom's cousin; Mike Pavelko of Youngstown, the bride's brother; and Lloyd Weaver of Brookfield. Ring bearer was Alex Danzo, the groom's nephew.
