YOUNGSTOWN -- Dawn Marie Taylor and Matthew Paul Schwartz, both of Youngstown, were united in marriage by the Rev. James D'Aprile during a 1 p.m. ceremony April 28 at St. Brendan Church.
A reception was held afterward at the Italian-American Veterans Centre to honor the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick J. Taylor of Lake Milton and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kim Schwartz of Boardman.
The couple live in Youngstown.
The bride and groom attended Youngstown State University. She is a merchandiser with Action Merchandising and Sales, and he is a retention representative with Alltel Communications.
Pearls and sequins adorned the bride's sleeveless white gown. It was designed with a full skirt and chapel train.
Amethyst gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Guyla Scott and June Taylor, the bride's aunt. Wearing lavender gowns were the bridesmaids, Lindsay Schwartz, the groom's sister; Julie Scott; Michelle Arnaut; Natalie Bowen; and Amanda Roby. Flower girl was the groom's cousin, Carly Ohlin.
Donald Mitchell performed the duties of best man, and serving as groomsmen were the bride's brother, Patrick Taylor, and Paul Stevens, Blake Scanlon, Bruce Scott, Steve Williams and Phillip Roberts.
