CAR WASHES
XBoardman Band Flagline will hold a car wash from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Chili's in the Southern Park Mall parking lot and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Pizza Hut at Route 224 and South Avenue.
CRAFT SHOWS
XA Brookfield on the Square craft show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday to benefit the Camelot Center, a therapeutic horseback riding program. The square is on Route 7 just north of Route 82 in Brookfield. For information call (330) 652-3382 or (330) 568-0134.

FESTIVALS
XThe American-Hungarian Federation will hold an annual picnic celebration from 1 to 7 p.m. Aug. 12 at the club house, 2219 Donald Ave. Events will include music for listening or dancing, raffles and Hungarian foods. Admission is $2 at the door.
XA flea market and pie festival is planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the New Wilmington Senior Center (Bair Foundation Building), 241 High St., New Wilmington. XSt.Rocco's Episcopal Church, 239 Trumbull Ave., Liberty, will hold a patron celebration day Aug. 12. There will be Mass at 10 a.m. games for all ages, live music, a Chinese auction, and a bake sale. Homemade cavatelli and spaghetti dinners will be available from noon to 5 p.m.
FUND-RAISERS
XNew Waterford Lions Club will hold its 12th annual Ride for Sight bike race Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. The 28-mile course travels through East Palestine, Negley, Rogers and Columbiana, finishing in New Waterford. XNiles Historical Society will hold a Heritage Day 2001 fund-raising event on Aug. 5 at the Ward-Thomas Museum, 503 Brown St., Niles. Admission to the museum and grounds is $4 for adults, $2 for students and children under 5 are free with adults. Events will include barbershop music and entertainment by Little Joe, a tour of the museum, exhibits, demonstrations, antique appraisals, bake sale and a white elephant sale. XBethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, will hold a no trash, just treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 11. Lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

XA rummage and bake sale is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday by Southington Fire Department Auxiliary at the fire station located at the corner of Routes 305 and 534 in Southington. Lunch will be available.
