Crafters sought for fest
LIBERTY -- The township is seeking quality crafters to participate in Liberty Fall Fest 2001 on Oct. 7 at Church Hill Park. Call (330) 539-4204 or (330) 759-1315. Entry fee is $10. The fest begins at 10 a.m. and includes a car show, entertainment, children's activities, displays and food.
Drug task force
Only four counties in Pennsylvania haven't joined with the state attorney general's office to create a drug task force -- but the number should drop to three by year's end. Bedford County, with nearly 50,000 residents, plans to join by the end of the year, leaving only Fulton, Juniata and Sullivan.
