BOWLING BPAA recognizes industry leaders



The organization named Best Practices recipients at the International Bowl Expo.
The Bowling Proprietors Association of America recognized ideas, tips and innovations in bowling center operations through the first BPAA Best Practices publication and award recognition.
BPAA is recognizing leaders in the industry in the essential areas of bowling center management: food and beverage operations, employee relations, center administration, customer service and retention, customer recruitment and revenue generation.
The process of reviewing nominations for these recognitions began in 2001 and will occur again in 2002. The recognitions were submitted by industry leaders such as state bowling proprietor association executives, BPAA board members and others.
The Bowling, Inc. Education Team conducted interviews, reviewed submissions and selected the winning proprietors in two size categories for each topic area: 32 lanes and 30 lanes or less.
A panel discussion seminar comprised of the 2001 winners was held at International Bowl Expo 2001.
