Suracks honored at open house for 50th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Surack, 3444 Flora Lane, were honored June 30 at an open house and picnic at their home in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children, Steve Surack of Austintown, Dave Surack of Canfield and Cindy Niemczura of Austintown, and their families. Four grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Surack and the former Susie Andreyko were married June 30, 1951, at St. Mary Byzantine Church. He retired in 1988 from Pepsi-Cola Products where he was an area manager.
His wife retired in 1966 from United Foods where she was a cook/bookkeeper. She then worked as a self-employed childcare provider.
The couple are members of St. Mary Byzantine Church.
