POLAND -- A reception at Mr. Anthony's, Boardman, honored Michael Vincent Passella and his bride, the former Jennifer Ann Economus, both of Worthington, who were married by Monsignor Phillip Connell at 5:30 p.m. June 30 at Holy Family Church.
Parents of the bride are Judge and Mrs. Peter Economus of Poland. The groom is a son of Nanci Passella of Boardman and the late Daniel Passella.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple live in Worthington.
Mrs. Passella graduated from Ohio State University, Columbus, with a bachelor's degree in communications and is pursuing a master's in public policy. She is a government affairs assistant for Calfee, Halter and Griswold LLP in Columbus.
A graduate of Ohio University, Athens, with a bachelor's degree in political science, Mr. Passella earned a juris doctorate at Capital University, Columbus. He is an associate lawyer with Mazanec, Raskin and Ryder Co. LPA in Columbus.
The bride wore a white strapless organza ball gown detailed with a handpainted trompe l'oeil bodice.
Honor attendants were Kristine Economus, Poland, and Paula Economus Stout, Cincinnati, the bride's sisters. Bridesmaids were Mary Canonico, Cleveland; Laura Hazel and Danielle Santor, both of Columbus; and Lisa Young, Boardman. They wore orchid dresses.
The groom's cousin, Lance Elmo of Boardman, was best man. Groomsmen were Nick Colla, Brian Lopatta and George Reider, all of Boardman; Bob Lopatta of Canfield; and Rob Stout, Cincinnati, the bride's brother-in-law.
