YOUNGSTOWN -- Humility of Mary Health Partners has announced five new appointments to its finance department.
Michael Ickowski, the new regional controller, came to HMHP from Buffalo, N.Y., where he was director of finance at Erie County Medical Center. He has a master's degree in business administration from State University of New York in Buffalo and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Canisius College, also in Buffalo. He is a certified public accountant and will be relocating to the area.
Rebecca Baytos, formerly a senior accountant for HMHP, is the new director of financial reporting. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University and lives in Warren. Kathy Kendall was named director of reimbursement. She had been a senior financial analyst for HMHP and has a bachelor's degree in business administration from YSU. A certified public accountant, she lives in Canfield.
Linda Kolasky, formerly an HMHP senior financial analyst, was named assistant controller for long-term care. A Youngstown resident, she has a bachelor's degree in business administration from YSU. Matt White, also a former senior financial analyst, was named director of budget. He has a master's degree in business administration from YSU and is a certified public accountant. He lives in North Jackson.
MANUFACTURING
EAST PALESTINE -- Richard J. Crossland, formerly of East Palestine, has been named chief executive of JJI Lighting Group Inc. in Greenwich, Conn. Crossland joined the company in March and has more than 30 years of management experience. He had been president of SLI Lighting. He has a bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering from Case Institute of Technology and a master's degree in business administration from Western Reserve University.
ACCOUNTING
YOUNGSTOWN -- Cohen & amp; Co. has promoted Michael Hoso to tax manager and named Mike Vennetti and Matt Griswold senior accounting and auditing accountants. Hoso lives in Warren and is a 1992 graduate of Youngstown State University. Vennetti, also a Warren resident, graduated from YSU in 1999. Griswold lives in Cleveland and graduated in 1999 from John Carroll University.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Pat Springer of Austintown has joined Worrell-Wingfield Baer, an Akron advertising agency with an office in Youngstown, as a senior account manager. Springer is a Youngstown State University graduate and has more than 20 years' experience working with a national ad agency in Pittsburgh and Akron.
